Striking a balance between the needs of children (users) and their parents (buyers) required extensive research and thoughtful design to ensure both groups found value in the app.

Designing and refining gamified elements that truly engaged children while meeting educational objectives involved multiple iterations and feedback cycles.

At Stemious, we adopted a cyclical design strategy that began with the Beta Launch phase and continued iteratively through a series of stages: Strategy, Discover, Empathize, Ideate, Produce, and ultimately culminates in the Launch phase. This cyclical approach allows us to continuously refine and enhance our products and services, ensuring that we remain responsive to user needs and market dynamics.

The Home Page serves as the gateway to the Stemious app, offering a user-friendly interface where students can easily navigate to different sections and keeps users engaged with dynamic content updates.

EMPATHISE

We started with conducting interviews with parents and user testing on children in the required age range, and used the insights to pivot to a B2B approach, namely in collaboration with Government of India's initiative - Atal Tinkering Labs. You can find the case study here.
We then conducted interviews with ATL teachers to zero in on the areas of intervention.

DEfine

The next step was to define ecosystems for Atal Tinkering Labs and Stemious.
This was then used to intervene on the gaps identified in ATL systems by providing solutions with Stemious' product offerings
